Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Platform Changelog at platformchangelog.dev, run by Christian Tichy. By using the site or subscribing to the daily email you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
A news feed and registry for platform engineering, developer experience and DevOps. Release notes come from the projects themselves; summaries and the “what changes for platform teams” lines are written by AI models from public sources, checked by fixed rules, and reviewed by an editor after publication. The methodology explains how.
Check the original before you act
Summaries can be incomplete or wrong, and change lists are sorted by automated rules. Before you upgrade, patch, migrate or make a security decision, read the original release notes or article, which every entry links to. Nothing on the site is professional, legal or security advice.
No warranty
The site and the daily email are provided as they are and as available, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Christian Tichy is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the email, or any decision made because of them. Where the law does not allow this exclusion, liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is zero.
Third-party content and trademarks
Entries summarize and link to work published by others. That work belongs to its authors and publishers; product and project names are trademarks of their owners and appear only to identify them. The site is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any project or company it covers. If you believe something here infringes your rights or misrepresents your work, tell us through the contact page or at [email protected] and we will correct or remove it.
Our content
You are welcome to quote or share individual summaries with a link back to the entry. Republishing the feed or the registry wholesale, or using it to build a competing service, needs our permission.
Sponsorship
Sponsored placements, when there are any, are labelled, kept visually separate from entries, and never influence what is covered or how.

Your submissions
When you send a report, a tip or a +1, you allow us to use it to run and improve the site, for example by correcting an entry or adding a tool. How we handle the personal information in it is described in the privacy policy.
The daily email
It is free, sent only after you confirm, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We may change or stop it.
